Celebrate my Birthday

First of all i am sorry that it took me so long to write this Post again. As Food & Wine is currently going on at EPCOT and my calender screams for trips to get planed, i did not have the time yet to be a bit earlier with that. I apologize but...

This has been by far the best birthday ever!! I mean i had a lot of really good birthdays but imagine spending your special day swimming with dolphins, chilling on an island in the middle of the ocean, going shopping at Floridas biggest Mall or watching the most romantic firework at Disneys Magic Kingdom: I did all of that on one day!!

Lets start with the bad part of the day ... waking up really early. As we forgot to book a car, we head to get up even earlier than planed. An hour later we finally had our car and made our way to Cocoa Beach (actually ... i took another hour to prepare myself for those big amount of people going to horn at me once i`m on the road). A few meters further a perfectly straight road took us one hour trough the beautiful side of Florida all the way to Merrit Island.

A few moments later we found ourselves on a small boat that brought us to a small island in the middle of the ocean. While we were busy doing those perfect shots for you, we saw some dolphins and Manatees swimming next to us. That has been a "truly magical experience".

Two hours later the boat picked us up again and brought as back to the coast. My neck already told me to finally put on some suncream as it was burning really bad. But nevermind ... back to the car and on the road. 30 Minutes later we were staying in front of Cocoa Beach Pier were we finally got to catch some food. No Turkey Leg for Maike...

As the sun went down and the battery run low on our camera and phones (sorry no more pictures ...) we made our way back and made it more stressful than necessary. First stop has been the German Supermarket Aldi (finally!!), our second stop brought us to the Florida Mall to get a Abercrombie Shirt and the last stop ended our day with a Big Bang: Wishes Fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.

What an amazing birthday .. right :) ?
